Tyler, a city situated in northeastern Texas and the county seat of Smith County, was established in 1846. Found approximately 100 miles east-southeast of Dallas, the city was meticulously planned and named in honor of President John Tyler. Originally focused on agriculture, Tyler’s fortunes shifted in 1930 with the discovery of the East Texas oil field. It’s worth noting that my home inspection services extend to Tyler as well.
